Information: Armenia is a Caucasian country. It is made of plateaus and high mountain ranges. 90% of its territory is 1,000 metres above sea level. Its highest point is Mont Ararat, with 5,160 metres. Armenian countryside has also many lakes, such as the Sevan lake, 1,400 km² wide and situated 60 km on the east from the capital city Erevan.
