Information: Central African Republic is situated in Africa and is bordered by Cameroon on the west, Republic of Congo on the south, Sudan on the east, Chad on the north and the Democratic Republic of Congo (former Zaire) on the south. The highest point is Mont Ngaoui with 1,420 m. Central African Republic is made of two separated basins. One flows down to the north (Chad basin) with rivers like the Logone, Ouham or Chari. The other basin is formed by the affluents from the Oubangui which flows down to the south (Congo basin).
