Information: Cyprus, officially called the Republic of Cyprus, is a country located on the island of the same name in the eastern Part of the Mediterranean. Cyprus is considered by some geographers as part of the Asian continent, because of its proximity to Anatolian coasts. It has a temperate and Mediterranean climate with very dry and hot summers, and cool and wet winters. Cyprus is the hottest isle of the Mediterranean Sea and Nicosia is the warmest city of Europe, with an average annual temperature of 19.5°C.
