Information: Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean Sea. It is an indepeandant country part of the Antilles, situated to the south of Cuba and to the west of the isle of Hispaniola, territory of Haiti and of the Dominican Republic. The isle of Jamaica is made of a thin coastal plain surrounding inland mountains. This is why all major cities are located on the coast. Main cities are Kingston the capital, and Montego Bay. The Jamaican climate is tropical, with a hot and wet weather, although the climate is more temperate inland.
