Information: the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, or Libya, is a North African country. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, by Tunisia (459 km) and Algeria (982 km) to the west, by Niger (354 km) and Chad (1055 km) to the south and by Sudan (383 km) and Egypt (1115 km) to the west.
