Located on the Jourdan Square, in the European area, at a 2 minute walk from the Parc Léopold, L'Assiette de Bernard offers you a cuisine mixing the best products of the market and the unquestionable French know-how. For the renovation of the place, where the pleasure of the taste should be accompanied with the pleasure of the sight, Mister Bernard put its confidence in the young architect Gregory Hue. His objective was to evade the formal and minimalist perspective and to bring some new elements to this atmosphere entirely dedicated to the pleasure of its hosts, and to take them to another universe, colourful, elegant and welcoming. A profusion of Chesterfield leather on the benches, elegant toppings, napkins featuring the emblem of the restaurant, warm lighting for an eclectic clientele: businessmen at lunch, families in the evening. In the kitchen, under the supervision of Mister Bernard, we do our best everyday to present quality products to our faithful and curious hosts along the seasons. At the beginning of each month we propose a 3 service menu with 3 choices and at the middle of each month new suggestions are coming. Our goal: to present a seasonal, renewed and special meal. Regarding wines, despite a small cellar, we are always looking for new wines. Great wines rub elbows with wines from magic winemakers. Last but not least, we are proud to propose wines served in glasses, be it white, red or rose, and from time to time we open a bottle for the pleasure of our hosts. |
