Warm and calming Zen surroundings. A relaxed atmosphere. A Thai cuisine with hundreds of flavours. Siam Square: an energetic name (just like the CM² logo, SI AM Square!), which refers to a hip neighbourhood of Bangkok, but also to a Thai restaurant with a strong personality located in the rue Américaine, near the Châtelain Square and its animation. Voluntarily proposing an innovative approach different from most of Thai restaurants of Brussels, Siam Square shows its difference at first sight: a contemporary decoration, far from ill-placed folklore, based on a relaxing simplicity. In short, a restaurant whose objective is not to impress you.

The decoration has been designed by the owner Vincent Braibant. It shows a mix of different tones (grey, violet, purple), raw wooden floor, a willingness to avoid any kind of disguise, an industrial storehouse look made by unconcealed piping and ducts on the ceiling, lines of spotlights distributing their rays of light, small orange tables associating wood and metal. No too aggressive, but not too mild neither, as the bar demonstrates, with its two small orange tables, a realistic sculpture representing a giant red pepper, counterbalanced by a portrait of an ecstatic Buddha at the back of the room. A Thai fine cuisine tasting authenticity. One square, two squares, three squares: from mild to very hot, the meals served at the Siam Square seduce the papilla's, surprising these sometime with unusual flavours, and emit nice harmonies. A convincing cuisine, exclusively prepared in the kitchen by Thai cooks.

This team clearly enjoys proposing original preparations that you wouldn't eat elsewhere. It is about authenticity, freshness, subtle association of flavours, spices, local ingredients. A true discovery, even for those who are fond of that kind of cuisine. Just look at the menu and at the suggestions displayed in the restaurant and regularly renewed. A varied choice and carefully studied prices. Good news: Siam Square is not an expensive restaurant! Just look at the prices, with starters ranging from 5,50 to 12 euros, and meals between 8,90 and 14,90 euros. Same moderation regarding wines, especially with suggested wines: white, rose, and red wines. From France, but also from South Africa or from Chile, these bottles cost no more than 20 to 22 euros. Some little details that also make the difference... A good idea: some starters can be served in small or large version, according to your desire. Vegetarians will enjoy starters and meals specially prepared for them, since the Thai cuisine is ideal for preparing vegetarian food. Take away service for all meals from the menu
